So since I'm writer's blocked, depressed and starved for more fanfic (looks annoyed at adlervan and 15lbsPB) and clearly competing with grimorie in the Life obsession...i'm starting to dream in Life.


Wednesday: dreamt that Crews goes undercover for CTU...why? I dunno. I don't even like 24.

Thursday: Dreamt that Dani starts dating Agent Eppes (from Numb3rs) and something happens and then she's with Gibbs (NCIS) and then she's like in jail or something. Then in comes hottie Christian Bale - THE Batman and  he falls for Detective Dani Reese. And they're smokin' hot!

Friday: was fortunately too drunk to remember.

Saturday: HERE was the shocker: In the dream Ted goes with Dani to Charlie's Dad's wedding and Dani ends up hooking up with Charlie's dad in the wine cellar and someone who is not Crews discovers them and then the dream got wierded and mixed...but it got me thinking about.....

Doesn't make the list: Dani/Bobby - I read about this being an unlikely ship and seriously - "ew" doesn't begin to compare. If any woman might tonguebash Dani it's Leslie .

10. Dani/ Charlie's dad - "ew" does begin to compare.

9. Charlie/Lt. Davis - now...this is freaky. It's like an Oedepius complex...or something.

8. Charlie/Jennifer - NEVER want this to happen again. But not so gross.

7. Dani/Ted - I get a wierd feeling when I think of this one. Like it might happen - given Dani's unsuitable taste in men and Ted's thing for younglingy ladies? And the fact that just about anything happens in network tele

6. Connie/Ted - would just be a hoot...but not grosser than Dani and Ted.

5. Charlie/Olivia - coz they're both redheads.

4. Charlie/Connie - I'm not averse to seeing this in canon as long as they don't get married or else I'll have to write an extramarital with Reese in fandom.

2. Dani/Roman - super!  Read those fics by piecesofalice

So why Dani is better than other cop women:

She cries every now and then - or at least gets teary eyed
She's not super tall and yet she kicks ass
She's not super human - a big guy - is a BIG guy (unlike the Bones chick and the IPS chick)
She's hot and doesn't show it
She's sexy and doesn't show it
SHE TALKS LIKE A COP!
She has a genuine flaw - which she struggles with.
She's loyal.
She doesn't talk unnecessarily.
She is just plain awesome!


b) Marshall - so hot! Definitely can see a pre-junkie Dani going out with him.

So how dumb am I?

I just realized that I've written so many Crews marriage fics and they're wierdly related even though they weren't intended to be.

So I'm going out of town and thought - if there's anyone out there as life deprived as me...and are desperate to read anything - well..this is pretty much "anything". If you want something there are superb fics out there...that I will rec later.

I've edited, taken out and added some stuff in the talking heads and the wierd-ass fic apart from giving them titles. If you'd like - I could write a Vth fic just to sorta give it a completeness feeling - lemme know.

New cases – duh.

Crews and Reese being a place of safety for each other - ::squee!::

Crews and Reese not getting involved romantically – unless it’s a reaction to the events the happenings of which seems unlikely.

 

What I want to see:

1. Roman returns
2. Davis returns
3. Yep – I’ve finally developed sympathy for Stark.
4. Them fixing all these stupid storylines like Crews shooting the two guys who died in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles in broad daylight or how he just goes about assaulting anyone he wants and gets away with it but pointlessly gets pinned for Ames’ murder; and also fixing all their dumb timeline glitches on the show - I mean somethings are just too far fetched ya know!
   

 

What I want to see for Reese.

1. Roman returns :::papapadapapda:::creepy psycho music:::
2. The ex-wife and the new partner – yep! I want to see Jennifer and Dani meet.
3. The prodigal daughter scenario – where Dani and Jack Reese have a showdown. I believe that Dani will choose her partner over her father. I honestly believe that if it ever comes to it Dani will shoot her dad if she has to. I only hope the writers see it that way. Also – I want to see more into their relationship as father and daughter.
4. More of Reese and Ted – have you read imsanehonest 
5. Undercover-ing as a couple. Come on! Mulder and Scully did a husband-wife thing! These two sure as hell can! It’ll be fun. It doesn’t even have to be shipperish – but it sure as hell will be entertaining. Read How not to hug by rodlox 
6. I want to see Crews and Reese interact on a more personal level - eg Reese seeing Crews orange grove/solar farm...her seeing his massive furnitureless house would be nice. Better yet - Reese buying him furniture - there are several fics that have those cutey situations but I can't remember them right now.
7. I want them to have a brawl. Yep. Coz they both kick ass and should kick each other's and then buy each other beers or fruit or something

 

What I don’t want to see

1. Tidwell replacing Davis – because she is Dani’s support system and I think the dumbest thing they could do is underuse Weigert. ( I remember when Aeryn died in the 2^nd season of Farscape – we all went nuts wondering why they killed her and if Claudia would return but it turns out she did…so I’m hoping that scenario works for Weigert as well. )
2. I hate crossovers. I hope they don’t do any.
   
3. Charlie and Connie together because there is zero chemistry and you can't generate any when Crews is sharing the same scene-frame as Reese. It would be easier to have Crews get involved with someone else.

 

What I don’t mind seeing but am not obsessing about

1. Rachel and Dani’s interaction
2. Dani getting a love interest – not necessarily a good guy. Maybe even Roman. piecesofalice's Red Line Overload (Crews, Reese & Roman, R-ish) and Morning, When Forgiveness Comes (Dani/Roman, mature) and Kissing Girls You Shouldn't Kiss (Roman's part)
   
3. Tidwell getting involved with Dani and making this ugly mess that no-one can get out of so that in case we hate Tidwell they can write him out. MWAHAHA! Yeah. I'm nuts.
   
4. The unlikely event that Crews and Reese end up sleeping together as a reaction to that event
5. Claudia Black – heheh….if she does have a guest starring role – I wanna see that; grimorie will agree.
6. I want to see Helen McCrory (DL’s wife) in a guest starring role – why? Have you seen her Cherie Blair in the Queen? Maybe she should reprise her role as Cherie Blair in some bizarre plot twist.
7. Hugh Laurie in a guest role. Hahah. Maybe he can play John Major. (who? Tony Blair's predecessor...as long as we're going for plot twists!)
   
8. The Horse. (maybe he can gift it to Reese)

 

So I was watching COPS whilst making my Credits vid and I totally got whammed with the idea of making an action vid - coz Life is not just shipper schmooshing it's also exciting.
This vid was a little tougher to concieve purely becoz I wanted the scene selection to be partnery - but the song wasn't long enough. So I guess I'll do a partner thing later.

Anyway I hope you guys relive all the action moments on Life...and here's to hoping that Dani gets more bad guy bashing next season.
